Osona intercity bus plan

On the occasion of Mobility Week 2021, the Regional Council of Osona and the City Council of Vic gave a new boost to the interurban bus plan that Adrià Ramírez (member of the PTP) had voluntarily created in the years 2013 and 2016 for the region of Osona (160,000 inhabitants).
This new map shows the networks during the week and at the weekend, and shows more clearly the itineraries of the lines. It also introduces stops and lines on demand (TAD), which did not exist at the time of publication of the previous plan. It is hung on the canopies spread throughout the region.

Signage and map of the EMT Palma

At the end of 2019 Palma, the capital of Mallorca (410,000 inhabitants) was undergoing a deep restructuring of the bus network, which required a new map and updated information on the 900 stops that make up the network. Both the initial design of the map and the signage project were developed internally. It was later when I was able to put my grain of sand in with the proposed improvements to the plan and the systematization of the information displayed at the stops. We had to take into account the wide variety of stall models that are spread throughout the city. This has made it possible to adapt the stop information to the needs that have been emerging.

You can consult the current version of the map on the official website of the EMT of Palma

Intercity bus stop signage in Barcelona

Taking advantage of the change in the location of intercity bus stops in Barcelona due to various urban planning changes in the city, the operator Teisa 1920 decided to take a step forward in the signage of its stops.

The vinyl of these stops shows in a clear and understandable way the towns that can be reached from that same stop, as well as photographs of places of tourist interest in these regions to reinforce leisure with transport public

In addition, it also shows the nearby stations or stops of other operators (measured in time and distance), as well as the customer service office of the company itself, thus creating the prototype of a true exchange area.

Urban bus plan for Igualada, Vilanova del Camí and Santa Margarida de Montbui

The new urban bus plan for this conurbation (63,700 inhabitants including the three municipalities) operated by Masats was the result of the work carried out with the CINESI consultancy.

The particularities of this network (lines that pass through the same stop in opposite directions, have different routes depending on the time of day or run on certain days of the week) are shown clearly and intuitively in this plan based on geographical

Barcelona bus map

As a personal project, a few years ago I decided to make this map to apply and consolidate the knowledge acquired with vector design tools (in this case Adobe Illustrator). I also wanted to improve the current map and have something similar to what was there before 2012, the year in which a gradual restructuring began that culminated in late 2018.
